Need Scaffolding?

September 2017

8th September 2017

We recently had a call from one of our scaffolders, who trained with us in First Aid to say thank you! We were touched by this story and hope that anyone who hasn’t had their First Aid training, will look to get trained, not only for work reasons!

Jason Bolton Testimonial – First Aid Training.

“Whilst on holiday in Cape Verde just last month, my one year old daughter fell ill and required urgent medical attention and became unresponsive. The nearest hospital was 2 hours away and there were no doctors on resort. Using the skills I learnt from a one day emergency first aid at work course allowed me to give her the life-saving treatment required until the emergency services arrived. I would urge everyone to get trained in First Aid, not just for at work”

Emergency First Aid at Work Course 14th October

To that end, we are holding another Emergency First Aid at Work course on Saturday 14th October. Please contact Karl Christy if you would like to attend?

Jobs Won this Month

Higgins Homes: Waltham Cross – Introducing 54 brand new homes in a fantastic location in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire. A mixture of three, four and five bedroom houses surrounded by carefully landscaped green areas. Forming part of the gateway into Lee Valley Regional Park make this the perfect location for those who want to stay connected to London whilst escaping to the country.

McCarthy & Stone: Manor Park, Chislehurst – Located in the affluent suburb, south east London, this development sits on one the town’s main roads and is surrounded by beautiful green parklands. The development boasts both luxury one and two bedroom apartments.

Crest Nicholson: Golden Lion, Loughton – Whilst residential price growth has plateaued in many parts of London over recent months, the West-Essex market remains buoyant due to strong transport links and generally more affordable price-point for housing, with Loughton being a particular hot-spot. Following the acquisition of the Golden Lion Pub, planning permission was obtained to re-develop the site with a new build scheme of 30 apartments.

SeaBro’s Winter Golf Day

If you’d like to join us on our next Golf Day, please let Nick or Robin know. It will be on Saturday 30th September at Three Rivers Golf Club…

Breakfast is at 11.30am followed by a tee off start of 12.30pm. There will be the usual Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive contest, along with Team and Individual Winners. No hustlers please lads, handicaps will be assessed by Robin… ;-/

End of Service

We would like to extend our thanks for their hard work and service to both Paul Beechey and Nigel Barber…

Paul is going to live in Thailand, Nigel is returning to the cranes after being with SeaBro for 13 and 16 years retrospectively. We’ll be sad to see them go, but hope all goes well…

To that end, Chris Turley is now stepping into the Transport Manager’s position and Trevor will be returning as our driver.
